As of 2025, Emerge Oregon has trained over 460 alum in 16 years and over 120 are currently serving across Oregon in elected office. Emerge is committed to building the bench and training Democratic women around Oregon who reflect the New American Majority: Black, Brown, Indigenous, LGBTQ, and/or young women AND also represent core Democratic bases: Nurses, Labor, Educators, Firefighters…Democratic women who are listening to their community and leading with courage in one of the most politically-volatile moments we’ve faced.
From school boards to Congress, Emerge Oregon women are standing up to extremism, defending our rights and holding power accountable, even when it comes at a personal cost. They’re not backing down. They’re showing up. They’re speaking out. They’re doing the work.
