There’s nothing we care about more than the success of our alumnae — especially when it comes to thinking about the decision to run for office, or support another Emerge sister in her campaign.
That’s why to support our alumnae, we’re providing a series of Continuing Education trainings this fall, exclusively for Alumnae of the Emerge Oregon training program. Building on our 92% win rate this spring, let’s continue our track record of success on the ballot, together 🤩💙🤩!
Dial in your money mindset, de-bug your hard ask hangups, re-rack your rolodex, and level up your calltime systems with veteran political fundraiser Jessica Boad.
In this new curriculum piloted for the Class of 2023, we’ll cover the back-end math and front-facing strategy for your campaign, and go under the hood to demonstrate how votes are tallied in two forms of ranked choice voting scenarios. These include: single transferrable vote (Portland City Council in 2024) and instant runoff (Benton County Comission and Sheriff; Portland Mayor and City Auditor in 2024; Multnomah County in 2026). Buckle up for this one with RCV expert Steph Routh!
Because our fall trainings build heavily on the fundamentals learned during the Emerge program, this series is only open to graduates of either the Emerge Signature Program or Emerge Bootcamp.
Thank you for helping us give Democratic women leaders the candidate training they need to successful. These trainings could not happen without the support of our generous donors, program sponsors, and monthly sustainers — to support this movement, please consider sponsoring the 2023 Fall Continuing Education Series below.
Because of you, more than 400 women in Oregon have been trained by the Emerge program!
