Friends,

Our Class of 2018 training year is underway. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and support the class at our kick off in January!

We continue to be amazed by our latest cohort. The energy is high and they are eager to learn it all. Many have already identified opportunities to engage in public policy advocacy or politics. A few have announced candidacies for office, secured appointments to a public commission, advocated or testified in support of legislation in Salem, filed to become Precinct Committee Persons for their neighborhood or attended a local Democratic Party meeting.

We certainly want all of these women to run for office one day – but we count these steps as successes – and blessings. It makes us feel good about the future when we see deeper engagement by those we want in elected leadership positions!

With it now being March, it also means we’re about 10 weeks away from Election Day!

Below is our list of women whose names you will see on your ballot. Over the next several weeks we’ll be sending out a series of emails to highlight each of them and why they are running.

If you’d like to get involved with a campaign, let us know. We’d love to see you out there on the campaign trail supporting women candidates!
